Communication

& Conflict Resolution

How we communicate matters.

Everyone argues—but not everyone knows how to argue in a way that allows them to feel heard and seen. Conflict isn't the problem; it's how we navigate it that determines whether it creates distance or deeper connection.

Communication therapy helps couples (and individuals) move beyond surface-level disagreements to understand the underlying patterns driving their interactions. Together, we'll identify the cycles that keep you feeling unheard, misunderstood, or disconnected and develop healthier ways of communicating that foster safety, trust, and mutual respect.

It is important to know that our communication styles don't develop in isolation. The families we grew up in, past relationships, life experiences, and even the messages we received about emotions all shape how we express ourselves, respond to conflict, and seek connection. By increasing awareness of these influences, we can begin replacing automatic reactions with intentional responses that strengthen your relationship.

Healthy communication isn't about never disagreeing—it's about learning to face challenges as partners instead of opponents. My goal is to help you develop the skills and insight to communicate more effectively, resolve conflict with greater confidence, and build a relationship that feels secure, connected, and resilient.

In our work together, you'll learn how to:

  • Break unhealthy communication patterns

  • Navigate conflict without escalating or shutting down

  • Express needs with confidence and compassion

  • Listen with curiosity rather than defensiveness

  • Better understand your partner's perspective

  • Repair after disagreements and rebuild trust
